Kris Chamberlain, Mother Kelli and Director Bruce Peiffer at the All State Jazz  Performance at the downtown Marriott Hotel in Des Moines during the Iowa Bandmasters Conference May 10th and 11th.

Kris has been selected to the Class 1A/2A All State Jazz Band all four years in High School.  His freshman year on trombone and the next three on trumpet.  Congratulations to Kris on a fantastic accomplishment.

North Mahaska School will be hosting the #1 Basketball Shooting Camp in the Midwest. Chute Camps are held at 80 schools each summer in nine midwest states.  There will be two sessions held at North Mahaska on July 24th and 25th. The cost of the camp is $60.

Sessions Include:

9th - 12th Girls and Boys Sessions 8:30 - 11:30 (grades refer to the players next school year)

4th - 8th Girls and Boys Sessions  12:30 - 3:30
